The Family ECHO: Autism series gives families the chance to connect with experts from Nationwide Children's Hospital and the Autism Speaks/Autism Care Network and learn medical and behavioral strategies that can make a big difference in their daily lives.
Families and caregivers are important to the health care team. The series strives to build:
Empowerment: Families will get useful tools and strategies for autism care.
Confidence: Participants will feel more ready to work with doctors and other healthcare teams when making decisions for their child.
Community: Connect with other families who understand your autism journey.
Access to Experts: Learn directly from top medical and behavioral experts.
Resources and Guidance: Find more resources, both locally and nationally, that can help your child grow and develop.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about autism and related conditions, such as behavior challenges, anxiety, ADHD and more. As they build their knowledge, the series will help strengthen their leadership within the care team and increase their confidence. The goal is to empower participants to feel more capable in navigating autism care.
Join Family ECHO: Autism sessions and become part of a supportive learning community that will equip you with the skills, resources, and confidence to make a lasting impact on your child's care.
Registration is now open for Empowering Women of Color: Building Supportive Teams for Your Child with Autism Across Family and Professional Settings! This session will take place on Wednesday, February 26 from 4 to 5 p.m. ET.
