
Yesterday, the Bancroft-Rosalie cross country team had their best showing of the year! The team had 7 runners place in Stanton and had several runners PR. Makia placed 14th, Cali placed 12th, Aubryanna placed 7th, and Barrett placed 2nd for the junior high girls team. Ryan placed 5th for the junior high boys team. Drake placed 17th for the boys varsity team. Brooklyn placed 19th for the the varsity girls team. Congratulations to all of the runners!

Last night was a very exciting night for the school. The school is a place for academic excellence, creativity and community engagement. This will be a place where we can come together, parents, students, and staff to support one another and to work together towards the success of our students. The groundbreaking of the new addition will serve for learning, growth and community involvement for not only now but generations to come. Several B-R Juniors attended a college visit on Tuesday at Wayne State College. They learned about dorm life, application processes, tuition fees and scholarship opportunities as well as several special programs only offered at WSC! There might be a Wildcat in this crew!

A Groundbreaking Ceremony will be held tomorrow Oct. 2 at 5:30 p.m. south of the school. Come join us as we officially kick off the new addition and renovation project. All are welcome to attend. Following the ceremony, the B-R Homecoming Pep Rally will be held at the football field, starting at 7:00 p.m.

Today the 5th graders participated in a virtual learning program called Stories Skulls Tell through the University of Nebraska State Museum Morrill Hall. The students learned how to identify some characteristics on skulls which help determine if the animal was a carnivore or herbivore. They enjoyed this interactive experience while making great observations and asking meaningful questions.

The JV FB game at GACC (Beemer) today will start immediately following the JH game, around 6:00 p.m., playing 6 min quarters due to limited numbers by both teams.

The JV volleyball game today will start at 5:00 in Macy.
